MAKING DISCIPLES

At Vidalia Cornerstone, we believe faith grows best in community. We offer Sunday morning classes, small groups on Wednesday nights, and special studies and events throughout the year to help you grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus. If you’re looking for a group that fits your season of life, reach out to Pastor Jose Caraballo—we’d love to help you get connected.

Wednesday Night RESTORE: Spring Small Group Studies

Our next cycle of RESTORE begins March 18th, and we’re so looking forward to continuing this journey through God’s Word together! Whether you’re wrapping up your first 8-week study or considering joining for the first time, now is a wonderful opportunity to get connected—or try something new.

Scripture reminds us that we are not meant to grow alone. The early church in Acts of the Apostles devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42). We are called to stir one another up toward love and good works (Hebrews 10:24–25), to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and to speak truth to one another in love (Ephesians 4:15). Small groups are one of the primary ways we live that out at VCC.

RESTORE groups are not just studies to attend—they are communities to belong to. Our desire is to cultivate environments where Scripture is central, prayer is consistent, relationships are genuine, and everyone has space to grow and contribute.

New This Cycle:
Instead of selecting only one study, we’re asking everyone to prayerfully choose three preferences—your first, second, and third choices. This helps us place participants in a way that fosters healthy group sizes and strong, life-giving community across all studies.

Please take time to read through the full descriptions of each study below. Then complete the online form and rank your top three choices.

We are trusting the Lord to knit our church family together in deeper faith and richer fellowship this season. We can’t wait to see how He continues to grow us—both in His Word and in community.

RESTORE Summer: Week 1

The Foundation of Our Identity

Scripture Focus: Ephesians 2:18–22

Discussion Questions linked in "Resources" tab below.

What defines who you are? In a world full of shifting values and mixed messages, it's easy to build our identity on things that don’t last—success, image, relationships, or achievements. But Scripture offers us something unshakable: Christ Himself as the Cornerstone.

In Week 1 of our Christ the Cornerstone series, we explore how our identity is grounded not in what we do, but in who we are in Christ. Ephesians 2:18–22 reminds us that through Jesus, we have direct access to the Father. We’re no longer outsiders—we are citizens of His Kingdom and members of His household, being built together into something holy and eternal.

This week's message and discussion guide will help us reflect on what it means to truly belong, how to re-align our lives with Christ as our foundation, and how to live out that identity in real and practical ways—both personally and in community.

RESTORE Summer: Week 2

The Foundation of Our Unity

Scripture Focus: 1 Corinthians 3:9-11

Discussion Questions linked in "Resources" tab below.

In week two of our Christ the Cornerstone series, we turn to 1 Corinthians 3:9–11 to explore how Jesus is not only the foundation of our faith—but the foundation of our unity. Paul reminds us that we are “God’s field, God’s building,” and that what we build together as the Church must be centered on Christ alone. This week’s discussion invites honest reflection on what threatens our unity and how we can realign our lives, relationships, and service with Jesus at the center. Whether you’re navigating conflict or longing for deeper connection in community, this study offers a compelling call to build something lasting—together.

Discussion Questions linked in the "Resources" tab below.

In Week 3 of RESTORE Summer, we’ll explore Christ the Cornerstone: The Foundation of Our Transformation through Romans 12:1–2. This session invites us to reflect on what it means to offer our lives as living sacrifices in response to God’s mercy—and how true transformation begins with a renewed mind. We’ll discuss how Jesus, as our cornerstone, reshapes our values, thoughts, and daily decisions, challenging us to break away from worldly patterns and build our lives on His truth. Through honest conversation and practical application, we’ll consider the areas where God is currently working in us and how we can support one another in pursuing lasting spiritual growth.

RESTORE Summer: Week 4

The Foundation of Bold Faith

Scripture Focus: Acts 4: 1-13

Discussion Questions linked in "Resources" tab below.

In Acts 4:1–13, Peter and John boldly proclaim the resurrection of Jesus, even in the face of opposition. This week, we’re exploring what it means for Christ to be the cornerstone of our faith and how spiritual boldness flows from being with Him. We’ll reflect on the exclusive yet life-giving claim that salvation is found in Christ alone, and consider how to respond to cultural resistance with courage and compassion. Together, we’ll identify what competes for that cornerstone spot in our lives—and how to keep Jesus at the center.
